There are two (2) programs available to high school students: ACCEL and HOPE Dual/Joint Enrollment.

ACCEL: For associate and four-year degree programs only.
Courses under this program must be taken from the approved course directory, which is supplied to all high school counselors. Only the courses toward the core graduation for college preparatory are permitted: English, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, and Foreign Language.

HOPE Dual/Joint Enrollment: For certificate and diploma programs only.
HOPE Dual/Joint Enrollment provides high school juniors and seniors at accredited public and private high schools in the State of Georgia with the opportunity to earn postsecondary and secondary credits while simultaneously enrolled in college, university, or technical institutions.
Students participating in these programs must meet the following criteria:
- Be currently enrolled in a Georgia High School as a junior or senior.
- Have acquired ASSET/COMPASS test scores for selected program of study (appropriate SAT or ACT test scores may be used).
- Be at least 16 years of age.
