Specialist Programs of Study!
The Computer Support Specialist program is designed to provide students with an understanding of the concepts, principles, and techniques required in computer information processing. The course content of the Computer Support Specialist Associate of Applied Science Degree program provides the student with the foundation for the CompTIA A+ and Network+ certification exams as well as the Core level Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification exams in Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Job/Career Description: A general program that focuses on computers, computing problems and solutions, and the design of computer systems and user interfaces from a scientific perspective. Includes instruction in the principles of computational science, and computing theory; computer hardware design, computer development and programming; and applications to a variety of end-use situations.
