Below you will find information regarding proctored exams:

What dates are proctors available?
  • Spring Term Midterms - Proctoring will be available on the following dates:
    • February 22nd
    • February 23rd
    • Please note that not all online classes will require a proctored midterm exam, please check with your instructor.
  • Spring Term Finals - Proctoring will be available on the following dates:
    • April 27th
    • April 30th
    • May 1st
    • May 2nd
    • Please note that ALL online classes will require a proctored final exam.
  • Please remember that these are not "walk-in" days - you must register for a two hour time block using the process listed below.
  • Students who reside outside of Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, or Liberty counties, students with documented disabilities that would preclude them from travel to campus for on-site testing, and students that cannot attend one of the times offered by STC may apply to find a local proctor to meet with during the assigned time frame.     • Please note that any fees charged in the process of utilizing an off-site proctor are the sole responsibility of the student.

How do I reserve a time and location that STC is offering?

  • Before reserving your time make sure you have the following information for each online class:
    • Your student ID number (this starts with 900 and is nine digits in length) do not add the 41_, this is not part of your student ID number.
    • Course Name and CRN (Located in ANGEL in the course title or on your schedule.)
    • Instructors Name
  • Have something available to write down your reservation information (Campus, Date, Time, Room). NOTE: Room location details by campus can be found at the bottom of this page.
  • Each time offered starts at the time listed, please do not be late. Time is also listed in military format - 8:00 is 8 AM, 18:00 is 6 PM.
  • Make sure you bring a picture ID with you.
  • Make sure you know what you can use on the exam, contact your instructor for that information.
  • Make sure you can log into the software that your test is in (ANGEL, MyITLab, MyLabsPlus, etc...) Make sure you know your username and password.

I forgot what time my reservation is for, where it is located, or I need to reschedule...
  • Students can view current reservations by clicking this link.
    • You will need your student ID number and e-mail addressed used during registration.
  • The same link can be used to delete a reservation.
  • To reschedule a time follow these steps:
    1. Use this link to register for a new time (remember to write down the details).
    2. Use this link to look up all your reservations (this will list the one you wanted to remove and the new one you added in step 1).
    3. Delete the reservation that you no longer wish to keep. Please make sure that you do this step so that the seat you had reserved opens back up for another student to use.
