COMPASS AND ASSET TESTING AVAILABLE

Students applying for admission to Savannah Technical College must complete the required
placement test, if  not otherwise exempt from testing with college transcripts.
 
The COMPASS exam assesses the students skills in Reading, Writing, Pre-Algebra and Algebra. 
This exam is computerized and is not timed.  Testers may work at their own pace.
 
The Asset Exam is similar to the COMPASS Exam in the skill areas it assesses.  This exam however,
is written and the student taking the test is timed for 25 minutes for each portion of the test.  The Asset Exam
is not standard and is only given under special circumstances.

  • Certificate or Diploma Programs - Reading, Writing, and Pre-Algebra
  • Degree Programs - Reading, Writing, Pre-Algebra & Algebra

Friday only 8:00 a.m.
*Students, who require testing other than Friday at 8:00 a.m., should contact an Information Specialist at 912.754.2880.
