Veteran Education Benefits
Savannah Technical College is approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for training veterans, dependents, and reservists under Title 38, U.S. Code for the following VA educational benefits:

New GI Bill - Active Duty Educational Assistance Program (Chapter 30)

New GI Bill - Selected Reserve Educational Assistance Program (Chapter 1606)

Survivors and Dependents (Chapter 35)

Chapter 1607 REAP – Provides Educational Assistance to U.S. Armed Forces Reserve

Vocational Rehabilitation (Chapter 31)
Additional Information for Veterans:

All credit programs at Savannah Technical College are approved for veteran training.

Veterans must attend scheduled classes and continue to show satisfactory academic progress.

Benefit payments will not be made for courses from which the student does not continue to attend.

Receiving veterans’ benefits does not prevent a student from applying or receiving other forms of financial aid.
