The Coastal Workforce Investment Board (CWIB) and the Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) have financial assistance available through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) to help cover training expenses for qualifying students enrolled in a demand occupation program.
Savannah Technical College is partnering with the Department of Labor and the Coastal Workforce Investment Board to create a temporary One-Stop Center on each campus that will be focused on assisting our students in determining if they are eligible for financial support.

WIA Referral Form
Be prepared when you visit the WIA counselors - review the referral form, the list of approved demand occupations, and bring the documents that are required in order to determine if you qualify.
*The temporary WIA One-Stop Center will located in the Student Affairs Office area at each Campus location. On the Savannah Campus, go to the Administration Building, in the Vice President for Student Affairs Suite—first suite on right when entering on White Bluff Road side of campus (across from Student Affairs).
