Management Programs of Study!
The Marketing Management program is designed to prepare students for employment in a variety of positions involved in the marketing of goods and services. Graduates may be employed in the areas of buying, selling, merchandising, advertising, customer relations, or promotions. The Marketing Management Degree program at Savannah Technical College includes both classroom and laboratory instruction designed to develop skills and attitudes required to work in the field of marketing.
Job/Career Descriptions:
Marketing Management Associate Degree/Diploma: Beginning marketers often crunch numbers to determine sales levels, work on gathering data from which a strategy can be formed, or participate in selling. With an advanced degree, one may start out as a marketing coordinator who is the hub for projects. This individual must ensue that all players are performing as they should.
Sales Representative Certificate: Sales representatives, sometimes called manufacturers' representative or manufacturers' agents, generally work for manufacturers, wholesales, or technical companies.
Occupational Trends:
Marketing Management Associate Degree/Diploma: Occupational opportunities are expected to be good due to the many positions in manufacturing, retail, wholesale, and service occupations.
Sales Representative Certificate: 2010 Occupational Jobs 65,586 and 2018 Occupational Jobs 75,469 (+15%).
