The Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership (GOAL) program seeks to give recognition annually to the State’s outstanding post-secondary technical students and to stimulate public interest in the importance of technical education. All associate degree and diploma program students who have completed one or more quarters at the time of nomination and have an overall, cumulative, technical college GPA of 3.0 or higher are eligible to compete in the GOAL Program. Additionally, students must be in good academic standing with the college and have a work ethics grade of at least a "2" to qualify for nomination.  The College winner must be enrolled in the same program during the college nomination, the college-level selection process, and the state-level activities.
